Outsiders can’t really understand how difficult living with endometriosis is.

Endo-sisters don’t just live it, we have to survive it; even when we are in despair.

I have lived with it, cursed it, despaired over it and finally survived it. I suffered with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PCOS.  I found out how to live a different kind of normal.  It’s been a journey of over 20 years and I have gathered a wealth of knowledge that your doctor simply doesn’t know.

This Endo Course combines my usual expertise as a therapist/healer/coach with my personal journey to create a programme which will enable you to become an endo-warrior who feels in control of her life again.

It is easy to be told about things which may help, it is less easy to implement them into your day to day living.  Especially when it comes to changing your diet or your lifestyle.

On my journey I found few resources to help in the usual places.  Perhaps a support group at the local hospital. Perhaps a book or two which mostly deals with medical knowledge about the condition.  I had to go looking far and wide to find that deeper layer of support which meant I could adapt the way I lived, to not only control the disease but also feel like I still had a life worth living.

I was lucky enough to have a mother who fought the medical profession and enabled me to have an early diagnosis at 18.

Having an early diagnosis put me ahead of the game.  Switching to the endo diet significantly improved my health and I have avoided some of the horrific complications which are so common.  I learnt many alternative techniques over the years to manage the pain, the exhaustion, the frustration and the anger.

The truth is, there is only one way to survive living with endometriosis and still feel that you can live a fulfilled life.  That is to change the rules of normal living.

Discover a new normal.

It can be incredibly hard to accept that you have to do things differently. Hard to adjust when your friends and family ‘don’t get it’ and think ‘it’s all in your head’.   When your friends get to go out all the time; while you have yet another duvet day with a hot water bottle and painkillers to comatose yourself.  Your work colleagues start getting promotions; you’re getting called into HR because of all the sick days you are taking.

You can’t live a normal life.  No matter how much you want to, no matter how much you might try to.

When you strive to live a normal life it feels more and more as if everything is out of control.  Your choices are so limited and you are in a constant battle with your body.

Through this course you will learn to find a new normal, a #1in10 normal and the resources to you need to cope long term.

Endometriosis Courage Course

When you find a new normal you take the biggest step towards regaining control that you ever have before. When you work within the constraints of your condition than you stop fighting your body and start taking care of you.

This supportive course will take the idea of regaining control in your life and change the way you manage your illness. Over the six months we will tackle:

  • Your diet –how to adopt the endo-diet, overcome resistance to changing your diet, foods to avoid and supplements to take.
  • Your energy – how to recognise when you need to rest and how to best recharge.
  • Pain Management – your alternative choices that goes beyond painkillers and hot water bottles.
  • Your social life – what to tell friends and family. Managing your own expectations of what you can and can’t achieve.
  • Your loved ones – what support they can offer and how you can help them with coping with this too.
  • Your life path – exploring what you can expect from a career, how to plan for a career path which can’t be achieved the normal way.
  • Your emotions and stress – stress and anger will exacerbate your condition, so developing good coping mechanisms to cope with the stress and emotional fall out of modern life is essential to staying sane.

You will be making fundamental real changes to your identity as a woman under attack from her own body to a woman who is back in control.

“Yes I’m interested, how does it work and how much does it cost?”

Due to the nature of our individual needs, this course is delivered one to one via the phone or internet. It runs for six months and your investment is £100 a month or  upfront of £550.  You can purchase additional sessions at £75 a time should you require them.

The full six month commitment is important to cover all the many ways that endometriosis is running your life and how we can effectively maintain your new kind of normal and staying in control.

The first month will have longer sessions and the second half will be less intense as you successfully implement more and more of the coping strategies and adopt more of the endo-diet successfully.  Each session will be individually tailored to your specific lifestyle and challenges.
